Eco Log visits Norway

It is not every day that we head of to our beautiful neighboring country Norway to make a customer report. So, when we got the chance to do so, we took the opportunity to visit not only one, but three Norwegian customer. In this movie report we meet Tonje at Johansen Skogsdrift, Tom Øyvind at Malmerengen Skog and Jan Bjørnar at Sankerud Skog & Maskin. Naturally, we never miss an opportunity to compete against our dear neighbors and therefore, we end the report with a competition between team Sweden and team Norway.

Tonje Myrene – Johansen Skogsdrift AS

Tonje works for Johansen Skogsdrift, a well-established company with around 40 employees. There, she has been working for a little over two years – first as an apprentice and today as an employee. Tonje operates their Eco Log 574F that is included in a team with an Eco Log 560G.

Tom Øyvind Malmerengen – Malmerengen Skog AS

Tom Øyvind has been working in the forest for more than thirty years and as we visit him, he has recently received his latest machine – an Eco Log 560G. To Tom Øyvind, working in the forest is a big part of his life and he enjoys the freedom that comes with the job and the possibility to plan his days and also make time for hunting and beautiful hikes in the mountains.

Jan Bjørnar – Sankerud Skog & Maskin AS

Jan Bjørnar works with land preparation in the Norwegian forests and operates an Eco Log 594F. The forwarder is his very first new machine and before he has only owned and operated used machines. To him, that opened a whole new world with an operator comfort that is something completely else to what he is used to and the ease of not needing to fix the machine constantly.

Join us as we head of to Norway and learn more about Tonje, Tom Øyvind and Jan Bjørnar and their everyday life with Eco Log’s machines.
