Harvester Head EC 561 LF NG
- Next Generation
Eco Log 561 LF NG represents the next generation of our agile and highly productive all-round harvester head. Developed according to the low-friction concept, it delivers maximum productivity while keeping friction to a minimum.
Thanks to its design, the EC 561 LF NG is well suited to a wide range of applications. It delivers strong performance in both small-diameter thinnings and lighter final fellings. Its compact dimensions, combined with excellent delimbing performance down to 30 mm, enable fast and efficient thinning operations with outstanding quality.
When working in larger timber, features such as LogHold and the proportionally angled feed rollers contribute to exceptional stem control and high productivity. The combination of a compact design, broad versatility, and operational flexibility makes this harvester head a highly adaptable choice for many types of forestry operations.
The EC 561 LF NG achieves its optimum performance in stems with a diameter at breast height (DBH) of 12-43 cm. At the same time, the LF concept ensures that even larger stems can be processed efficiently and with high capacity.
1. More productive and more agile with faster multi-tree
handling and less protruding multi-tree arms.
2. Reduced fuel consumption and increased productivity with new generation hydraulic valve.
3. More efficient with the new Optiflow roller motors and the new SC100S saw unit, which comes with a 32 cc saw motor as standard.
4. Easier to service with hydraulic test points gathered together and a new, improved tilt block.
5. Kinder to the environment with a redesigned chassis for reduced bark damage and bark accumulation in the measuring wheel area.
6. More reliable with a new cover to protect the hoses at the lower limbing knife cylinders.

Maximizes productivity in every cut
All of Eco Log´s harvester heads have been equipped with Eco Log Saw Control, a patented system that ensures a maximum performance from both machine and harvester head in every cut. The system continuously adapts the guide bar feed, and as a result each cut is optimized irrespective of tree species, stem diameter, chain sharpness or how much power the machine is providing.
A link between the machine and the harvester head ensures that every cut is performed with as high efficiency as possible, where the system continuously optimizes the values regarding to external conditions without the operator needing to change any basic settings manually. It makes no difference if the harvester head is used in mixed forest, in final felling or if you process a spruce with your first cut immediately followed by a birch. Eco Log Saw Control ensures that your felling is fast, smooth and efficient at all times.
Eco Log Saw Control
- The harvester head continuously adapts to current conditions and delivers guide bar pressure and guide bar feed irrespective of tree species.
- Links the saw and machine for optimal performance and efficiency from both harvester head and harvester.
- Minimizing the risk of cutting cracks and generates time savings and efficiency thanks to high cutting speed.
