Harvester head EC 661 LF
he Eco Log 661 LF is a high-performance harvester head that offers the highest levels of quality, strength, and productivity in all types of final felling. In large-diameter final felling, the proportionally angled feed rollers, in combination with the patented LogHold system and Eco Log Saw Control, deliver the highest capacity and production. In final felling of low-grade timber, the versatile design comes into its own and ensures high levels of efficiency and rapid feeding.
The low friction concept (LF), combined with extremely well-protected, smart hose routing, paves the way for minimum friction, the least possible downtime, maximum uptime, and maximum productivity. In addition, the harvester head’s variable roller motors generate an optimum balance between strength and speed in both low-grade and large-diameter stands.
The Eco Log 661 LF meets every challenge – flexibly, robustly, and efficiently.

Maximizes productivity in every cut
All of Eco Log´s harvester heads have been equipped with Eco Log Saw Control, a patented system that ensures a maximum performance from both machine and harvester head in every cut. The system continuously adapts the guide bar feed, and as a result each cut is optimized irrespective of tree species, stem diameter, chain sharpness or how much power the machine is providing.
A link between the machine and the harvester head ensures that every cut is performed with as high efficiency as possible, where the system continuously optimizes the values regarding to external conditions without the operator needing to change any basic settings manually. It makes no difference if the harvester head is used in mixed forest, in final felling or if you process a spruce with your first cut immediately followed by a birch. Eco Log Saw Control ensures that your felling is fast, smooth and efficient at all times.
Eco Log Saw Control
- The harvester head continuously adapts to current conditions and delivers guide bar pressure and guide bar feed irrespective of tree species.
- Links the saw and machine for optimal performance and efficiency from both harvester head and harvester.
- Minimizing the risk of cutting cracks and generates time savings and efficiency thanks to high cutting speed.
